Positions are contingent upon contract award.

Positions will be based in West Sacramento, CA Solution Architect/Technical Lead The Solution Architect/Technical Lead is responsible for the overall design and delivery of the chosen system solution.
He/She will use operational and technical knowledge to assess business needs and priorities, and lead the design and successful delivery of the application architecture, frameworks, technical services, hardware infrastructure, network, storage, operations architecture, and development architecture.
He/She will establish the overall technical vision and lead IT technical project planning and implementation.
Specific Duties include:

Works with functional subject matter experts to collect and describe both current and future capabilities, operational activities, system functions, business processes, operational and system performers, and associated data and attributes :
Participates in the discovery, documentation and refinement of business requirements to ensure alignment with technically viable solution designs :
Work with project manager and application development lead to define and improve the software development methodology and processes :
Creates and maintains system architecture and design documentation :
Work with project manager and application development lead to define and improve the software development methodology and processes :
Manages knowledge transfer to appropriate staff
Qualifications:
Desired Skills/Experience :
10
years of experience in multiple IT disciplines with a proven understanding of architectural concepts (data, technical, and solution), issues, and trends :
Expert knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications systems design, and integration with a detailed understanding of applicable programming methodologies :
Extensive experience using a systems analysis and design methodology with an excellent understanding of industry trends and tools :
Strong communication skills with both technical and non:
technical audiences :
Strong presentation skill and ability to clearly demonstrate software solutions across a range of technical and business users up to upper level management :
Strong leadership skills to indirectly manage across functional teams toward common solutions :
Demonstrated ability to fully document technical specifications and related systems level documentation :
Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience, is preferred :
ITIL Certification a plus :
