Underwrite risk information to determine risk acceptability and communicate resulting decisions to agents.

Develop agency partnerships and agency management skills.

Ensure agents understand the business market direction, underwriting standards and new business risk profile to generate a flow of quality new business submissions and retention business :
Business cultivation:
seek out new opportunities with existing agents as well as new agency appointments :
Develop and execute effective territory business plans :
Agency/territory management:
manage agents in designated territory to ensure that targets for new business, renewal retention, loss ratio, and mix of business are achieved Position Requirements Key Competencies and Skills:
