Positions will be based in West Sacramento, CA Application Development Lead :
Coordinate development activities on a daily basis and ensures that all tasks are completed on schedule :
Lead, motivate, challenge, and support development team to maximize productivity and quality :
Drive efficiencies in the development effort through the use of tools, processes, and effective resource management :
Direct and supervise problem solving and troubleshooting of software, data and interface issues; drive issues to resolution and escalate to management as appropriate :
Managing unit and integration testing and support formal testing :
Ensure proper defect management, prioritize, assign, and track to resolution :
Direct and supervise problem solving of software, data and interface issues; drive issues to resolution and escalate to management as appropriate :
Creating and maintaining system related documentation :
Support Quality Assurance efforts by conducting code reviews, peer reviews, and participating in quality audits :
Recommend process improvements to achieve higher levels of software quality, reduce complexity, and increase efficiency
Qualifications:
Desired Skills/Experience :
5
years of experience leading software/system development teams and management of the software development lifecycle :
Experience with legacy system replacement and data conversion efforts :
Passion for quality and continuous improvement of processes and software, :
Excellent communication skills and demonstrated project management skills :
Prior knowledge in pension system implementation experience a plus :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field :
