Gardener Wanted
Crossroads Facility Services has immediate need for Gardeners.
Full time, medical, dental, vision.
Under the direct supervision of the Crew Lead or Project Manager, the Gardener performs all landscaping duties as directed to ensure a professional grounds maintenance appearance.
The Gardener is responsible for meeting his/her daily schedule and performing tasks in a professional manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prune trees and shrubs; remove weeds utilizing various hand-held gardening tools such as, hedgers, pruners, trimmers, weed eaters and blowers.
Remove weeds; fertilize lawns, plant annual color or shrubs.
Keep all shrubs, groundcover and annual flower beds weed free, cultivated and pruned to customer standards.
Additional Responsibilities Attend meetings as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of power equipment used in landscaping operations.
Ability to understand written and verbal directions.
Must be able to take directions and have a good work ethic.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Requirements Verification of eligibility to work in the United States as outlined under the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
Upon hire must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Education and Work Experience 1 -- 3 Years in Landscaping preferred Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
Be able to reach overhead.
Be able to work in various positions, including but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time.
Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks.
Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout the assigned workday.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
