Hello, My name is Domenic and I represent The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic III position for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Fairfield, CA. Details for the positions are as follows:
Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY Responsible for the Effective Implementation of all Maintenance activities ( Preventive Maintenance and Demand Maintenance systems) to ensure optimum availability, as well as Safe and Efficient operation of Manufacturing equipment/Support Facilitity, producing quality products at the least cost. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (list most percent of time first, limit 9) 70% 1. Repair and Maintain Manufacturing Equipment/Support Facilities Inspects, lubricates, repairs and troubleshoots mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic manufacturing/process equipment including but not limited to:
Waste Water and associated feed water and condensate systems, chilled water, cooling tower, glycol system, HVAC and associated equipment:
Waste water pre-treatment, compressed air, city water distribution, electrical distribution system. Analyze equipment breakdowns to determine source of trouble and malfunction. Performs other duties as directed including:
pipe fitting, welding, operation of shop equipment that includes drill press, lathe machine, grinders etc, general building maintenance including painting, facilities repairs, general lighting installation,
repair, replacement, etc. 2. Performs Preventive Maintenance Program that supports the Line Efficiency of Fairfield Plant a. Implement scheduled Job plans as dictated by criticality and frequency (weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual) Performs lubrication program of all plant equipment. Recommends updating of job plans which includes some modifications on activities or frequency of implementation. 20% 3. Ensures efficient operation of Waste Water Pre-treatment Plant Performs repair and maintenance of all waste water equipment. Responsible for the GMP of waste water 5% 4. Ensures efficient operation of the Dust collector a. Performs repair and maintenance of dust collector assembly Performs monitoring of its parameters (daily, weekly, monthly) 5% 5. Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED Education :
High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) Experience :
Knowledge of applicable standards and requirements for Nutritionals or Food Manufacturing. Skills :
Previous HVAC related work experience in facilities and maintenance is desirable. Behaviors :
Must possess good working attitude and good working relationship. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
