Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, implementing, and supporting new products/processes. - Designing automated equipment and processes - Creating maintenance and calibration support plans for new and existing equipment. - Working with chemists, other manufacturing engineers, maintenance, and technicians to evolve production lines through the application of technical and lean manufacturing principles. - Supporting existing equipment. - Supporting business goals by establishing technical project objectives aligned to meet the short- and long- term goals of new and existing product line needs. - Driving projects through all aspects of the design process - Process improvement:
manage and improve processes to enhance product quality and maximize efficiency and productivity. Required Qualification - BS or MS in Electrical, Electromechanical, Automation and/or Robotics Engineering - Minimum of 5 years design experience with proven track record of new product development and/or new equipment design and deployment - Demonstrated ability in:
customer satisfaction; quality control; process management; electromechanical technical problem solving - Demonstrated leadership skills in:
Organization and planning; Judgment; Relationship Management, Conflict Prevention - Experience with automating manual processes. - Excellent communication skills up and dow
n organizational levels. - Ability to present data and project status using typical software and presentation tools. - Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with peers, partners, and in cross functional projects. - Familiarity with test, measurement, control software and hardware systems. - Knowledge in machine parts fabrication methods and basic material science. - Experience designing electrical interface boards Preferred
Qualifications:
-Experience in chemical manufacturing environments -Knowledgeable and Experienced in Lean/Six Sigma -Skilled in computerized maintenance management systems. -Proficient with Microsoft Office, Project, and CAD tools. -Proficiency in programing languages including:
