Animal Technician Trainees work under relatively close supervision and will have extensive training to learn the principles and practices for basic animal husbandry including colony maintenance, animal room maintenance & operations, and record keeping.
Animal Technician Trainees are responsible for demonstrating proficiency in all aspects of the technician curriculum while learning objectives and practical performance standards to become a fully functional animal technician.
Required Skills Required Experience Successful applicants must have a minimum of HS diploma or GED and prior work experience.
